You will be part of the Investor Relations team, a small but dynamic team based at the Corporate Center in Brussels. Its role is to ensure a smooth relationship between ageas and the investment community. The IR team provides relevant information to analysts and investors that helps them to better understand the dynamics of our company in order to broaden the shareholder interest. It provides feedback from the investment community to senior management on developments on the equity markets and expectations of the investment community regarding strategic topics. This requires a thorough preparation, including a solid understanding of the company’s strategy, its financial and operational results, and ongoing knowledge gathering on a wide range of subjects concerning ageas and the (re)insurance sector.

Your function

In your role of Investor Relations Analyst you will contribute to an optimal working of the IR team by amongst others:

  • Following up the latest developments of ageas’ competitors and the financial markets as a whole;

  • Monitoring and analysing sell-side research, models and forecasts and investor perceptions;

  • Collecting, structuring and analysing any other relevant information for IR and top management, leading to useful insights;

  • Preparing communication materials for webcasts, meetings and presentations on all topics relevant to the investment community (earnings, capital, strategy, M&A, ESG,…);

  • Enhancing the digitalization and automation of IR processes and reports by setting to work the full potential of existing tools;

  • Monitor inbound investor requests, coordinate timely responses with multiple internal departments;

  • Assisting in development and implementation of investor targeting.

Your profile

  • You have a master degree and are keen to learn

  • You have 3-5 years working experience, preferably in the financial sector

  • You are interested to learn about Ageas, its products, strategy and results

  • You like to work towards joint deliverables in a dynamic team that needs to be flexible in response to short term urgencies

  • You can be trusted to work with confidential (price) sensitive information

  • You have a good knowledge of Word, PPT and Excel and you are keen to work with software tools as Bloomberg and Nasdaq, knowledge of BI tool would be a plus

  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch and/or French would be a plus
